ClipKeep (“the Extension”) is a browser extension that allows users to save selected text from web pages and access it later in the extension popup for viewing, searching, copying, and exporting.

This Privacy Policy explains what data ClipKeep handles, how that data is used, and how it is stored.

1. Information ClipKeep Handles

ClipKeep may handle the following information when the user actively uses the Extension:

• Selected text content that the user chooses to save
• The title of the page where the text was saved
• The URL of the page where the text was saved
• The date and time when the note was saved

ClipKeep does not collect account information, passwords, payment information, health information, messages, contacts, or location data.

2. How the Information Is Used

The information handled by ClipKeep is used only to provide the core functionality of the Extension, including:

• Saving selected text as notes
• Displaying saved notes inside the extension popup
• Searching saved notes
• Copying saved notes
• Exporting saved notes

ClipKeep does not use this information for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.

3. Local Storage Only

All data handled by ClipKeep is stored locally in the user’s browser using Chrome extension local storage.
